Project 2(a): Individual My "x" Hometown
Project Brief:
We need to study and investigate our hometown then we need to present all the information by using infographic method. We need to put all the information by creating a foldable pamphlet approximate A4 size. The maximum number of pages for this project is 10 pages.
According to the brief, a few requirements are needed in this project:
- Choose a city/ township, then a specific area      on where you come from.
- We need to study the background and the          history of the township, the significance            elements/components, the accessibility and      other relevant data of the township. We need    to illustrate a map of your township upon as    the main reference.
- We need to zoom in your selected areas of          our township and to elaborate the built              components in detail through tangible and        intangible components.
- We need to identify the sentimental part of   our area and to discuss about the tangible         and intangible elements
- Describe and visualise what would we like to   change/improve in our township and justify     why.
Reflection:
Through this project, I have a better understanding about my own hometown. I have learned about things like zoning, components of my town etc. Besides that, I have learned on how to access google earth, this is because I can't go back to my hometown and do researches, so what I can do is to rely on the internet resources and get the information I need to complete this project.
In conjunction, I have learned on how to express information in infographic method. And also I have learned a lot of art due to the folding pamphlet. It was a struggle for me at first because I this is the first time I am doing this kind of things.
In conclusion, a lot of I.T skill and handcraft skill is needed to perform this task, and because of that I have the opportunity to expose to this kind of stuff. My work may not be the best but at least I tried my best.
